ABOUT ME

Hello and welcome to my website!

I am Associate Professor and Chair of Philosophy at Rhodes College. I received my doctorate in Philosophy from Vanderbilt University and my bachelor’s in Philosophy from McGill University.

I work in the philosophy of race, sex, and gender. My current book project Transracialism: The Ethics and Metaphysics of Changing Race explores whether it is possible and permissible to change race.

I teach various courses in moral and political philosophy such as Philosophy of Race and Racism, Feminist Philosophy, Ethics, Ethics of Identity, Medical Ethics, Animal Ethics, and an introductory seminar in philosophy based on the sci-fi series Black Mirror.
